If you’re a regular on the slopes, you know the drill: pack up the van, drive to the mountains, set up, ski, pack down, drive home… and repeat. This year, why not make it easier?

Located just a short drive from Falls Creek Ski Resort, Tawonga Tourist Park is your perfect base for chasing fresh powder all winter long. Our Winter Base Camp offer is back for 2026, making it easier than ever for keen skiers and snow lovers to maximise their time on the slopes.

Here’s how it works:

  • Set up your van once on a powered site between June and October
  • Pay just $20 per day to keep your van on site for the full season.
  • An additional rate of $55 for up to 6 people applies when you’re actually staying.
  • Leave the set-up and pack-up behind – your base is ready whenever you are.

Winter Base Camp Terms & Conditions

  • The daily unattended fee is $20, which keeps you connected to power. 
  • The standard rate for the nights you stay is $75 for up to 6 people per night. Strictly one car only per site.
  • Guests are required to call ahead to book and pay for each visit. Check-in is required in person on arrival for each stay. 
  • A refundable bond of $200 will be required on acceptance of the returned agreement forms. Payment of the outstanding balance is due monthly in advance. 
  • Cancellations of this agreement made within 14 days’ notice prior to first check in will incur a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds for early departure or end of the agreement.
  • Camp set-up remaining on site past the end of the agreement date will be charged at 4 nights minimum at our standard rate, regardless of visitation.
  • The bond will be returned 72 hrs from departure minus any expenses incurred to return the site to its original condition. 
  • Please note this offer is applicable for caravan, motorhome, and hard floor campers only and is restricted to the ski season dates above. Annexe floors and awnings must be stored away between stays.
