Park Etiquette 

  • All parties must register at reception and not occupy any site until they have been signed in  
  • Check in time is 2:00pm 
  • Check out time is on or before 10:00am. Site must be vacated by this time or further charges may be applied. 
  • Early Check-In Time and Extended Check-Out Time may be arranged with prior notice; however, this is subject to availability. (Fees may apply.)    
  • Late Arrivals: Where your expected arrival time is after 5.00pm, please contact our Reception Staff.   
  • Walk-ins after 5:00pm will not be accepted unless pre-arranged with Management. 
  • Speed limit is 10km (equivalent to a fast walk). Pedestrians have right of way at all times 
  • The controlled use of skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, scooters, bicycles is permitted obeying speed limits requiring helmets to be worn at all times in our park.  
  • The use of all camp facilities by children under the age of 12 must be under adult supervision. 
  • Children over the age of 6 should use gender appropriate toilets.  
  • Smoking is not permitted in the amenities, camp kitchen, laundry or BBQ area.
  • Maximum length of stay per booking is 50 days. 
  • Please restrict noise from radios, televisions, and social gatherings. NO excessive noise after 10.00pm. 
  • The guest’s name on receipt and/or on register is responsible for ensuring all people in their group staying or visiting the Park complies with these Park Rules and is responsible for the conduct of all guests associated with the booking. 
  • Visitors must park in designated area opposite reception and leave the Park by 9:00pm or camp fees will apply.    The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons/visitors whilst on the property. 
  • Please keep your site and other park facilities you use clean & tidy. Rubbish and recycling bins as well as wastewater drain and clothes drying area are positioned throughout the park for your convenience 
  • Fires are permitted in raised fire drums only complying to park guidelines. Campfires are not to be left unattended.  Campfires are to be extinguished prior to departure and cooled with water.   
  • Pets are permitted, see conditions below. 

Pet Conditions

Pets are welcome at Tawonga Tourist Park, as we understand that pets love to go on holidays too!  To ensure that you enjoy your stay with all our other guests, we must ensure that all Pet owners take full responsibility for their pet and ensure they do not disturb other guests when on the property.  

Park Management reserves the right to disallow any pet at the holiday park that they deem not appropriate to stay at the park and must be notified at the time of booking if you wish to bring your pet. 

Please read the information below to ensure you and your pet can meet the following conditions.  

  • Under no circumstances are pets permitted in the amenity blocks or camp kitchen  
  • Pets are permitted in designated pet cabins only 
  • Pets are not permitted in non-designated pet cabins or glamping tents  
  • Cats are not permitted to roam freely at any time.  
  • Dogs are only allowed to enter the property of other guests if prior consent is given.  
  • At all times, dogs are to be kept on a leash.  
  • Dogs are not permitted to be left unattended within the park.  
  • No barking or yapping allowed.  

As the owner of the pet, you are responsible for: 

  • The cleaning up after your Pet which also includes toilet duties.  
  • All or any claims or other suits that may arise as a result of your Pet’s behaviour whilst anywhere in the park.  

Any breach of the above conditions could result in early departure and forfeiture of refund. 

Zero tolerance rules 

Failure to abide by the rules may result in your stay with us being terminated. NO second chances, NO warnings, just immediate eviction from the Park with no refund given. 

  • Anti-social behaviour towards other guests 
  • Stealing from other guests staying at the Park 
  • Abusive language and swearing 
  • Undue noise and behaviour after 10:00pm 
  • Excessive drinking of alcohol or use of drugs 
  • Not accepting instructions from Park Management and /or Security 
  • Damage of any kind to Park property and facilities 
  • Larger gatherings greater than site capacity are not permitted unless prior arrangements have been made with Park Management 
  • Non-payment of park fees 

Site Bookings and Usage 

Each site has the capacity to accommodate either:  

  1. One caravan/motorhome and awning and one vehicle, or   
  2. One family tent (or two x 2-person tents) and one vehicle.   

There are to be no extra tents on sites with caravans/motorhomes, awnings, or additional vehicles.  

  • Base rate covers 2 people, additional fees are applicable for additional guests.     
  • Please consult closely with Park staff and Park map to know exactly what the layout of your site is and how to best fit onto it comfortably. 
  • Please note that whilst every effort is made to accommodate your preferred site or cabin number, they are not guaranteed. 
  • Cabins with Bunk Beds. “Warning – due to the statistical chance of significant injury children under the age of 9 years are not permitted to use the top bunk; children must not play on top bunk.” (Australian Standards AS/NZS 4220:2003) 
  • All park owned accommodation units are strictly NON-SMOKING. Smoking allowed only outside the cabins and please discard cigarette butts in the containers provided outside of each cabin.  A $100 cleaning fee will apply if smoking has occurred in the rooms 
  • Cabins must be left in a tidy state with all dishes washed and put away and rubbish placed in the bins provided throughout the park. If the cabin is found to be left in an unacceptable state, a $100 excess cleaning fee may be charged. 
  • Food stored in shared areas must be clearly labelled with name and departure date. Food left in fridges and freezers is left at your own risk. Park management take no responsibility for lost food 
  • All Caravans or Motorhomes must have a current electrical warrant of fitness.  Electricity can only be connected through an approved transformer or RCD lead.   
  • Chemical toilets must be emptied in the Dump Station. 
  • Trees around the park are inspected regularly, however trees and branches may still fall from time to time.  Persons entering the park do so at their own risk.  No responsibility will be accepted for personal, or property damage caused by falling trees or branches.   

Lost Property 

We will hold onto any lost property for 30 days and make efforts to contact the guest to return the item(s) at guest cost. If the guest does not claim the property within 30 days, the property will be disposed or donated. We will document any lost property found and the actions taken, such as efforts made to contact the guest and the final disposition of the property.

Damage to the Park 

Belgravia Pro will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage of any guest’s property. Belgravia Pro reserves the right to charge guest(s) for all damages and breakages to camp property, missing items, late departure, extra cleaning, and unpaid expenses, including damage caused by their children and visitors. The guest agrees to have the Tawonga Tourist Park charge the presented card on file in the event the guest fails to pay any charges. 

Damage & Personal Injury 

Disclaimer. To the extent permitted by law, the Park and Belgravia Pro excludes any liability to the Guest Booking Agreement, tort, statute or in any other way for any injury, damage or loss of any kind whatsoever (including, without limitation, any liability for direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage), sustained by the Guest and/or any other person, or for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by the Member, arising from or in connection with the Booking Contract and/or the services/products provided by the Park and/or Belgravia Pro, and/or any act or omission of the Park and/or Belgravia Pro. 

Breach of Park Rules and Terms & Conditions 

Any breach of these terms and conditions will result in a warning and any further breach will result in a second warning and your stay being terminated. A proven serious breach of the general conditions of entry may result in immediate termination of your stay without warning. The Guest, Belgravia Pro and the Park each hold reciprocal rights of termination for a material breach of any term or condition of the Accommodation Agreement.
